What are you upgrading from?

The original Evo. It's starting to seem slow and old to me so I'm definitely due for an upgrade.

Kind of off topic but does anyone know how the phone upgrades work for Sprint? If you get $150 off, shouldn't the phone be $100 with a new two year contract? I tried online and it was showing the phone would still be $250 or something like that. Seemed weird to me since that's the price for just the new contract itself, not including the upgrade discount.

Epic 4g running CM9. Still a great phone and with ICS this thing has gotten even better! If it wasn't for me wanting a bigger screen I would keep this phone. My son is excited to be getting this when I get my S3 so it will still see a lot of use.

If you go here,

You will see that the phone really costs $549 and they give you $350 in rebates if you are due for an upgrade or a new customer. So the price lands up being $199.

And I am upgrading from my Epic 4g Touch not just because I am impatient, but because I also have an upgrade next April so I will be ready for the GS4. :-)

So damn true!! Stock people have no idea what they're missing!

This is my main reason for getting the next Samsung Galaxy phone. Its been a good experience rooting my phone for the first time. I know when its time to root it, it will prolong the life of the phone for me! Well, if I'm not happy with it running stock at least, lol!

Ah. I'm out of contract in addition to having a phone upgrade so I thought it would be even cheaper than that. Thanks. :)

Reluctantly from my EVO 4G...would have gone with the EVOLTE, but sadly I wasn't impressed by the camera, and I hear it has lots of glitches. Haven't done Samsung in years, but the S3 looks so good I'm going to give it a shot.

Evo LTE. Not that I dislike the Evo, but I think Samsung has a better strategy by creating a single phone that is virtually unchanged by carriers. I did have multitasking issues with the Evo and am hoping that the 2GB of memory in the GSIII solves that.

HTC EVO 3D.This will be my first Samsung smartphone. This phone looks really good!

Og epic 4g(stock). Phone still works like a charm but I never wanted the slider. With the evo sold out, I settled for the Epic and its been a cool two years and she's still running
