Umm, that's actually downgrading, lol. a lot

Edit: if you do indeed love iOS, keep the better hardware in the SGS III and wait for someone to port MIUI over to it. Then at least you'd have the latest hardware & still be able to multitask, which iOS still can't seem to manage effectively, i.e. the same problem that the EVO 4G LTE has with over aggressive memory management. Just saying...
That & crApple with the iClone has historically been at least a year behind Android hardware wise since the O.G. EVO 4G knocked the smartphone world on it's ass two years ago... Again, just saying

I am upgrading to a Galaxy S III from a One X. Previously OG EVO, Evo 3D, and Epic4G Touch. Still have my Sprint account is why im here. As for the iPhone guys....i'm sorry to hear that. Not to knock anyone on iOS but i agree with Carhauler, why would someone want a phone with such old technology and a tiny screen and give money to a company that just brainwashes everyone to thinking their device is the best when its really not. I used to have the iPhone 3G and i gotta say...was the worst device i ever owned even when jailbroken.

I had one upgrade eligibility out of 4 on my account so I am upgrading my
Galaxy S2 Epic Touch to the S3. I am selling my wifes EVO 3D and giving
her the GS2ET4G.

I have not Rooted a phone since I did my Original EVO 4G but I may end up
rooting my S3 down the road to keep it a bit longer.

I am doing from the E4GT white and black. The only reason I am doing it, because of the GPS. It is a keeper but with out the GPS issue. I really enjoy this phone, but looking at the SGIII for much needed improvements specially in the software. No issues with the E4GT but want some Ice Cream on my phone!!!!! :'(

I will be upgrading when someone rips the S3 rom so I can flash it to the Epic Touch. Can't see any sizable difference between this and the Epic Touch, except that staying put gives me WiMAX while everyone else is stuck with 3G for awhile.

I just ran quadrant on my htc hero and got a 219 ... wonder what my s3 will get.

I saw a YouTube video by Phonedog earlier today, the S III pulled a **5592** on Quadrant.

I'm upgrading my daughter from an original EVO. She's rough on phones, the battery is about shot and she's busted the back cover. She's the LTE "guinea pig". We're in the Baltimore market and should be one of the first to get it. <crossing fingers>

have the original HTC EVO 4G that I got the week it launched. It's served me well for 2 years, but it's beyond time for a change and I preordered the White 16GB at Best Buy and just can't wait for it to come in!

Currently on an Epic4G whose contract has recently expired and am ready for this. Was tempted on upgrading to the E4GT when it launched last year but was still on a contract. And luckily CM9 came out which increased its life span for me. But I think I'm due for an upgrade. Leaning towards the 32GB Marble White but will decide once I see both colors in person.

EVO 4G. Been running CyanogenMod on it for the past year and half.
