Upgrading from an iPhone 4. I have been using the S3 for couple of days now. It is taking a little getting used to, such as the mail app. It doesn't seem as "slick" as the iPhone, but maybe I am just not used to it yet. I am a create of habit; I am sure as I use my S3 more I will be able to find the info I need faster.
As I looked at my iPhone 4 and S3 trying to see what apps I need to download to my S3, I realize that there are only a dozen or so apps that I use all the time and those are available for Android. I admit, the apps (such as Facebook) might look better at the iPhone but to me, the app developers can do a better job.
With the iPhone, i can set my pages for "work", "personal", "news" or whatever categories I want. With my S3, I feel I can do more. The pages are not JUST for organizing my apps. The pages are enhancing my categories. Like news, when I go to my news page now, I have widgets with headlines that I can look at quickly, instead of opening an app when I was using my iPhone. Or weather, I can glance at my S3 and I know what the weather will be like. With my iPhone, I had to open an app.
The S3 (Android) in general is just easier.
There are a billzion options and sometimes it is overwhelming, but the good thing is that if I don't like it anymore, I can always change it.
I am glad I left the iPhone (but that doesn't mean I won't go back) but at this point in my life, I am really liking Android and the possibilities it gives me.
P.S. It seems like my iPhones (3GS and 4) knew an Android phone is coming because both of them have been horribly laggy (app crashes [Safari, etc]) and I literally have to reset my iPhone 4 (pushing top and home button until the silver apple comes on) once or twice a day to reduce the lag.
