I just installed, but now I can't find it on my phone or watch

The about section says the phone app serves as a placeholder for setting up the face or something like that.

The Play Store lately has been real lame. Sometimes it will say installed while it's really not. You just have to keep trying the install over and over again until it actually shows up.

Yeah, finally figured it out. I like this and got it for free with one of those coupon things. If the dev will create a phone battery icon then I would go back and pay for it.

To me, being able to see phone battery on my watch is very useful and something Tizen didn't allow. Devs had to create a companion app for the phone which would send battery info to the watch.

The developer finally answered me and said he will update it today. Like this one better than the Pixel face. Paid .99 cents for it.

Ok, the guy updated this face and now the 30 actually shows the correct date.

Yep, the Marine Commander is one fine watch face. Anyone try the other face the MC developer has up?

I can't get the steps to sync on marine commander...any suggestions?

When you go into settings, tap the bottom complication (or whichever of the 3 you want to be steps). Tap the very first option at the top of the list, them scroll down and select 3rd party, then scroll down till you see Samsung Health options. They're all in there to choose from. After that, back out of settings and you should be in business.

As a side, I also did this to the top left to select the same weather as on the watch tile. I also moved the phone/watch battery indicators to the new weather complication. When I tried to use it with steps, it made the steps so small I could barely read it. That's because the step count will have a border around it as well and it fills in blue as you reach the daily goal for steps.

That happened to me on one of my watch faces and I thought well maybe I didn't click install. Then I rebooted the watch and it was their.

It's called Marine Commander and I've had it running on my Ticwatch Pro for some time now, but something about this on the high resolution display against the all black just looks great to me.

I have the same one. Best watch face I've had.

Different platform - GW3 and older use Tizen, which eventually lead to lots of faces from independent developers.

On Wear OS, anytime devs made good watchfaces, they were recruited to develop exclusively for companies like Facer. If you download Facer you will see hundreds, if not thousands of watchfaces. You don't have to subscribe like they want. I've never subbed to them, but cherry pick the watchfaces I really like (most are free) and have paid for a few.
