What bixby routines do you use?

wonder how much battery drains by running routines... and it would annoy me to have to then manually change it back to QHD+ etc...

if I set up bixby routines on my 9 plus now will it carry over when I get my 10 plus or should I just wait?

I'm using the work, driving, and before bed routines. Work is pretty convenient because I can set my phone to silent without having to do anything. Driving probably has the most utility though, since I can set my phone to turn off wifi when it connects to my car's Bluetooth. I can't count how many times I've tried to use Google assistant in the car only to realize that the wifi was still on and it was grasping for some weak signal on the side of the road instead of using LTE. Automatically killing the wifi is way, way safer than messing with my phone manually at a red light or something.

Currently I only use the driving routine where I turn off my wifi, increase the media volume, and start my podcast app when I connect to my car's Ford Sync system.

Never shows on my battery usage.

LOL, battery usage worry is like buying a sports car and then driving like your grandmother because you might burn a little more gas ;)

Haha yeah good one, I see some buy these great phones and turn off literally every feature available on the phone and then come and pay I got 20 hrs SOT. I'm like no ****

I created a couple Bixby Routines to turn on Do Not Disturb at different times on weekdays and weekends. Surprised Samsung didn't include the ability to do so in the Do Not Disturb settings like Pixel phones.

1) CAR: Turn Wi-Fi off, start iHeart radio app
2) Get to work: Turn Wi-Fi on
3) Get home: Turn Wi-Fi on

When Routines was part of Good Lock app I was able to create a routine that would leave the screen on when maps was running. I don't see this option now.

I use work, home and made one for when galaxy buds are attached to start youtube music.

I'm using all these. But I use them in conjunction with Tasker. Tasker has some features that Bixby routines doesn't have and it's easier to set certain things up on Bixby than Tasker for others. Like anything dealing with quick settings like blue light filter. So I basically created the same profiles on Tasker but didn't overlap functions. Screenshot_20190325-103248_Bixby%20Routines.jpeg

I can't use it. I bring up the app and it won't let me select anything. Seems frozen all the time

So far two routines:

In My Car:
When BT connects to my car deck
Then Media Volume @ 100%

In My Car at Night:
When BT connects to my car deck & When Time is 6pm-7am (everyday)
Then Night Mode ON

This is a great idea. Does running this routine bypass the annoying volume warning message?
