i've tried chrome and mostly been using opera. there is lag every so often. and sometimes when it gets real laggy, and i hit the home button, it appears the phone reloads the home screen icons. what is going on?

Chrome with Adguard. I keep trying others, but nothing else is as quick and dependable.

Chrome, would love to try others but I am dependent on my bookmarks in chrome. Don't know an easy way (if any exist at all) to export bookmarks from the mobile chrome browser to another.

I just use the "Browser" native app on my phone. It usually works well, and if there is lag, it is tolerable. I have Chrome and use it sometimes - but if we're talking about computer browsing, I ALWAYS use Chrome lool.

I just started using UC Browser and am really liking it. It's fast has adblock and reflows the text when you zoom (I've not seen any other do that). It also has some nice themes.

Wow, this sounds like a really good browser app! Thanks for the tip!

AT&T has only chrome installed. No others. :(

I'm in the same situation since I have dozens and dozens of bookmarks on my Chrome as well.

If there's an easy way to transfer I'd appreciate the FYI too!!

Which carrier are you using? I'm assuming that this "Browser" app is from the carrier and not from LG themselves. I've got T-Mobile, and only Chrome comes pre-installed.

Adguard has an app in the playstore called "Adguard Content Blocker" that is, in fact, used as an ad blocker for supported 3rd party browsers like the native Samsung browser as well as Yandex.

You can also download the Adguard VPN client app from their website:

https://adguard.com/en/adguard-android/install.html

This is a local VPN that blocks adds from any browser and most other apps. I've been using it with Chrome for months (maybe years) with no problem.
