what browser is everybody using

I have been using Miren. It seems a lot less... bloated? than the other browsers. I personally like the minimalist type... I don't need the linking to twitter, fb, etc. :)

Same here. I pulled the blacked out version from the Emotionless Beast theme. Looks sweet. :-)

I was wondering what browser epic owners like best.I'm using dolphin hd

I have found Miren to be my browser of choice. The speed is incredible and I have never ran into any "checker board" loading. Its the closest thing to chrome there is, until Google actually makes a Chrome Mobile.

I thought Dolphin HD was cool, but I prefer how Dolphin Mini functions in terms of fullscreen. Its pretty much perfect for screen space, fast, and i LOVE the loading bar being the only thing shown when fullscreen. Press menu and everything pops out :)

Dolphin Mini for me, but im going to try Miren since everyone seems to like it.

That's the logic my friend uses when I ask him why he still uses IE. Sometimes, you need to experience something better to realize what you were missing before.

(I do fully recognize that Android's stock browser is leaps and bounds above IE but you get my analogy :p)

Hmmm... I have tried mozzilla and chrome. I was a huge Netscape fan back in the day. I just don't see anything about chrome or mozzilla that makes me want to switch from IE. I guess you can see my analogy.
lol

Again I don't search the market for all the new apps and will probably never have more than 30 installed.

I have my bank by phone, checkbook, gps, preloaded apps, grocery list, fandango and really that's about it. I'm good with that...

Skyfire is my browser of choice. I also have Firefox installed, I like a lot of what it has but they really need to get the flash thing figured out. I have tried most of the major browsers and they all are pretty good and I am glad we have so many great choices.

Now I found someone from my time... Netscape, that was a killer browser in my opinion. IE was a distance memory once I discovered Netscape, and it was by accident because one of the preinstalled ISP bloatware that came with Windows 95 pushed Netscape on you. Once that died out Firefox was and still is my browser of choice for my desktops/laptops.

Before that we did email on "pine" and used mosaic as a web browser. Netscape was awesome. I learned how to create webpages with netscape composer.

Might be a good option to put up a poll on this thread just to see... List all the major browsers and let everyone take a vote.

I am using dolphing Mini. Besides. @Paul, yes it is a good idea to put up a poll on this topic.

+1 on Netscape Composer... LOL.. Remember those days too... Gosh I don't remember Pine.. I do remember mosaic.

Back on early AOL days a short time before 56k modems started to become mainstream! Wow does that seem like a really long time ago... Then again my first go around with computers started back on Atari 600/300 baud modem (the freakin cup modem you put your phone onto to connect!) 16 meg RAM !! hahahaha...

Anyways back on topic... Dolphin Mini for me.. I like stock but for anything out of the ordinary I turn on Dolphin Mini for my phone web surfin.

I've used dolphin, skyfire, opera, and miren. But I seem to always come back to miren due to its cleaner look, better tabbing, and for me, better speed.

Netscape actually came before IE. Mozzilla took over Netscape and is the basis of what firefox is now. So if you are using firefox you are using what was once netscape.

The first big lawsuit against microsoft was netscape. Because of windows 95 new licensing agreement computer manufacturers could no longer pre install software of any company in direct competition with microsoft. When IE became part of windows netscape could no longer be pre installed.

I guess I just showed my age.

Whew. That was 15 years ago for me, right when I was entering college, lol!!!
I use the stock browser that comes in SRF 1.1.0. I tried Miren, but didn't like the interface very much - kinda soft and pastel-y for me.

I will try Dolphin, Skyfire and Mozilla at some point, but for now I'm good with the stock.

On the desktop, I hated Netscape (sorry paul!), loved IE, then once malware became an issue, I used a shell for IE (Avant Browser) - it was fast as could be, as safe as could be.

Then Chrome came out - and I haven't looked back. Unique-process-per-tab for the WIN.

I never liked the look and feel of Mozilla, and I hateHATEhateHATE Safari in any blend or form. Yuck.
