What camera app do you prefer?

Awesome question! I'm not sure, to be honest! They all have their good points. I think Samsung does the best with scenery. Google's image stabilization is the strongest. Apple's is all-around awesome. Those are my opinions, of course.

Just talking which is the best to use as a camera app then Samsung hands down you can flip the screen to selfi or rear camera easily the other 2 have a dedicated button for that and more control in front of you to use without going into settings

Samsung has been my favorite for years, Google and Apple both lacked manual control last time I used them.

You know, I STILL flip the screen with my Pixel 5 and think, "WHY won't it rotate?!" LOOL.

Owning both an iPhone 13 Pro max and an S22U, I’d have to say overall the Samsung. Both have good cameras, but the S22U is better. Today I’m using my iPhone and later when I’m out riding my bike I’ll take some shots and compare to my S22U.

I appreciate the video capability of the iPhone, and the options on the Samsungs, but if I had to choose, it would be the consistency and point-and-shoot nature of the Pixel.

I've used the S21 Ultra, Note 10 +, iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro Max, Pixel 3 and Pixel 6, so I think I have had a fair amount of exposure to all 3 to be able to make the comparison.

The thing is, the preference I have is based on my intense need to make all the cameras work. They just all take the same picture in wildly different ways. I guess that's good, except that we're talking about photography like it's art. It shouldn't be subjective, but each of the manufacturers have made it such. Maybe we win in the end because we get choice, but I'd imagine that with photography, there shouldn't be choice, since it's supposed to capture a 1 of 1 of the thing we're shooting. Variances should ideally be left to impressionist paintings and the likes, not our cameras.

I couldn't have said it better, myself!

Samsung pro mode using expert raw. With my pixel 4XL it was primarily a point-and-shoot.

Do wish the Pro mode allowed for aperture priority, the mode I also use when using my D850 (unless a need for full manual arises), but just need to get used to using shutter speed priority. It's correlated to aperture.
