need help with what I can and can't do once I root my verizon galaxy s4.
I have been living outside of the USa for about nine months for the past 3 years and have kept my contract with them by putting my phone in suspense every year for most of the time that I've been away but verizon has changed their policy on suspensions and I will have to start paying for the phone service even though ['m not using it. So I have bit the bullet and have bought my way out of my contract and now want to rid the phone of all traces of verizon. If I root my phone can I get the boot loader unlocked to give me the maximum capability to rid my self completely from them. At the present time I have a sim card from a foreign carrier but verizon is still a presence on my machine.and if anyone knows the best way to do this I would appreciate their help. I've rooted my HTC phones in the past but always remained a verizon customer, so I've never had to do this. Thanks, LC.
