What can I do to get my Sprint hotspot to connect to Xbox live

[Android Central Question]

I have a Franklin r910 mobile hotspot and sprint unlimited data. I have an Xbox One S. The Xbox says the Internet connection is working, but when I try to sign in under a profile, it goes nowhere and eventually tells me it can’t connect to the internet. The NAT is strict and I need to get it to be Open. Can anyone on here hep me? Otherwise my Xbox One S is useless.

I just upgraded to the R910 as well from the ZTE warp. Having the exact same issue. Also have gone through all port forwarding steps which worked for the warp, but not the Franklin. Xbox just sits at sign on screen. Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated!

Try using another hotspot (or tethering - same thing) app. Some hotspots don't handle port forwarding very well. Try Fwd: the port forwarding app. (If you need the hotspot to handle DDNS, try Port Forwarder Ultimate.)

I am also having this issue. I found that in the hotspot settings you get to on your computer, you can enable upnp under advanced settings. Then it gives me either a "double NAT" problem, or the error teredo (teredo can't find a IP address) and im not sure what rukbat is taking about. At all.
