What Carrying Case Is Best For Galaxy Note 4?

What is the size of the lip of the tech21? will it protect my phone if it falls on the side of the screen? I'm thinking to order this one:

There is a lip, though it seemed less than my Ballistic TJ or Verus Thor. I felt less secure about screen protection while trying the Tech21. Also, this is totally subjective, but it did not look anywhere near as nice to me in real life. From pictures it looked kind of classy/tech with the smoky orange and being able to see the gorgeous N4 through it. When I had it, it just felt like an expensive soft case with a little protection and an orange rim. It went back to Verizon. BTW they sell it for less than the link you provided should you want it.

... have another case ordered from Ebay -- Hybrid Shockproof Slim TPU+PC Case Cover Skin For Samsung GALAXY Note 4 IV N9100 It was only $5.99 when I bought it...it's now $4.99. Figured it can't hurt...

So, I finally got this case today.

Only 1 big issue: the buttons for the volume and power weren't working right when I snapped the polycarbonate shell over the soft TPU part. It was almost like it was applying pressure to the entire part of the volume keys -- so I accidentally went into recovery mode. Ack. So, I went in with my SAK (Swiss Army Knife) and slit the TPU around 3 sides of the buttons (back and both sides) so that when you pushed with your finger/thumb, the button actually moved freely of the case. It worked like a charm and when I put the harder shell back on you can't see any of my incisions.

I don't have another way to actually take a picture of the case on my phone so you can see how all the ports, mics, etc. line up -- and they all line up nicely (Verizon version). I can access the sensor on the back without any issues and the case is just slightly higher than the camera so there'll be no scratching of the lens when it's lying "back" down.







Oh, and apparently, the outer shell pops off so you can store a card back there -- not something I plan on doing.

This case will do until all the other manufacturers get with the program and have carrier specific cases or more [true] universal cases.

This case appears to be genuine soft leather, has snap instead of magnet, and has a wrist strap.

There's also a great leather case similar to the Zenus at Noreve (from France):

They are also expensive, but their cases are really nice in a huge choice of skins and colors. There is a discount code available that worked: PRENOEL14 (15% discount) and there's free delivery.

Thank you for this info; 'twas a huge pleasure looking at the colourful leather cases, particularly the Exception in Acier vintage. However, over $6,000 is a bit excessive for me to spend on a case for my cell phone--even with free shipping!

Redo your conversion. Most of them cost $40 - $90!
64.90 euros equals $80.

I did too until I realized how much the oils from my hands get on it and make it feel all grimy and gross. I got an Otterbox Commuter and have been happy ever since.
