What cases have you found?

I'm a z fold 2 owner (until my fold 3 arrives later this week) and I've been using the spigen tough armor pro case for close to a year now. It adds A LOT of thickness to the fold but it really does protect everything, including the hinge. I've dropped my fold 2 a few good times on a hardwood floor and there's no sign of damage so far. I'm probably going with a uag case this time though for my fold 3. Love uag cases. They usually feel great in the hands and offer excellent drop protection
I like UAG as well but that might be bulky on a fold

Spigen Thin Fit a good choice.. Ringke is another good case for those looking but Spigen is thinner for sure...

Is the UAG thicker than the Spigen tough armor?

I may not have my ZF3, but I went and got this overpriced case from Spigen (Slim Armor Pro) to give it a try along with my VRS Quick Stand Pro. It looks like because it makes the phone kinda thicc, the gap when closed is minimized.

I still think this case has no reason to be this expensive. Should be half at most.

I might want to use this case outdoors but my VRS at home but really not sure with the adhesives these cases have, and if the cases are really loose without them.

I have this case for my z fold 2. While it is great for protection from all the drops etc I've had, the hinge protector part has left several small scratches on the actual hinge. Probably from opening and closing phone. Hope Samsung doesn't hold that against me when I send it in for trade in whenever I get my fold 3. Not saying yours will do that. I might just have a bad one or something from past falls may contributed to it. Who knows. Lol. While the hinge cover makes a slight popping sound when closing/opening phone it doesn't look damaged at all.

I have heard of that and I don't think they would - they seem to be more interested in cracked screens and that the phone will turn on. Maybe the supposedly tougher aluminum armor would help against scratches? But I can see why that would happen if you continue to have friction on there. Will see how it works out, otherwise it's expensive enough for me to send it back (rather than keeping it) if I don't like it. :)

Yeah that is good to know. Thanks. Yeah both screens and rest of phone look like it did when I got it at release last year. Hopefully it does help. Guess I'll see whenever Samsung decides to ship my z fold 3 lol. That's if I get a spigen case. But I'm a spigen person so I probably will. I know they have a screen protector that comes with a film for the hinge so maybe that would help too. Expensive but if it will keep scratches off I guess it is worth it lol. But I be worried about that glass screen protector not holding well with certain cases. Hope case works out for you. It definitely adds some weight but I've gotten used to it so not bad after awhile.

I've had great luck with Ringke case on my ZF2.
The Spen folio case from Samsung is a real disappointment for me.... what a PITA! it makes the device much more difficult to wrangle... at least the Spen came with it!
Will be looking at the suggested cases from you all AND getting another Ringke. Even though it leaves the Spine/Hinge unprotected i only have a scuff on ZF2. We shall see....
Peace

spigen makes a good case that covers the hinge. That's what I'm using. Also it makes it easier when the phone unfolded

My uag civilian case came in today. I don't have the phone yet. But yeah this will be my first fold phone. Just seems to me it's not worth the 60.00 I paid for it. Probably going to return it :/

Using the case on the front screen somehow looks odd and also kind of interfering with the swipes. Might decide to just go without case at least for the front screen

Latercase which is like Aramid full case is only one that doesn’t interfere with edge panels on ZF2…

UAG are always pricey. They do offer great protection though.

I do have the Samsung official aramid case and feel even with that the side swipes aren't that comfortable. I think any front case probably has some effect on the swipe. Nothing not manageable but without it is much nicer
