Still rinsing mine off and another day kayaking and misc soaks. No issues to 3+ feet for 20 or so minutes a few times thus far.

Think it's more to do with popularity. Not a lot of people here interested in it. Considering AT&T themselves contacted Samsung because of the number of complaints, and Samsung found and fixed a production issue, speaks for itself.
