Google screwed the pooch with the Really Blue last year. Why on earth did they only offer it on the 32GB models? And if the Kinda Blue replaces it, I'm going to be more disappointed.

Really Blue or even Really Red are the best colors of the Google logo.

I want more/better views before I decide which color. Real photos/video with a good look at the front as well in each color. I am 50/50 now on the Black / Panda. The better views will decide a winner for me ...

99% certain I will be, unless there's something catastrophic in the reveal that puts me off it. Like if they took away unlimited photo/video uploads at original quality, that would be a punch on the gut to me.

Also hearing that the XL could have stereo speakers has got me excited as well. Don't know of another 18:9 screened phone with dual front facing speakers.

I remember a reviewer saying the original Pixel was the hallmark of everything HTC when you opened up the phone. I wonder if HTC had any inputs with the Pixel 2 XL or will it have everything under the hood of an LG phone?

That seems the most likely. If a component is already being made then costs are saved right off the bat. Recycling the V30 display would do exactly that.

Doubtful. In terms of overall design, LG would listen to Google's input but not another ODM. One case where you might see input is if introducing something wildly different such as the squeeze-to-do-something feature since that's HTC's baby. But, everything under the 2 XL hood should be LG.

If anything, LG should have been able to tell HTC not to put giant, ugly bezels on the standard Pixel 2. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case.
