I have cpu settings for das bamf remix set at the smartass governor. max frequency is 1.024 and min is 245. I have been using it for 2 days now and i cannot see very much of a difference in stock rom battery life. What are you using for settings to get better battery life without sacrificing too much processing power. kernel is 2.6.32.21_bamf_4.4.7. With moderate use over the past 2 days i only get a max of 10 hrs of battery life. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I have mine set at min: 245 max: 768 with ondemand governor with a screen off profile set at min/max 245 with priority of 100 & smartass governor. My phone is still responsive & it doesn't max out the power usage while screen is on. The screen off profile will minimize the power usage when screen isn't being used which saves your battery

Has it been helping, djinsydius? I know you were having issues getting better battery life.

How much awake time does your screen have (you can check in battery usage)?

On demand governor is the most commonly used governor for the bamf 4.4.x series of kernels.

Min and max cpu settings really depend on each individual phone and how they handle the settings, so you would be best off running some tests and seeing how low you can take your max setting while still performing correctly.

I've been able to get through a full day on 1 charge, which is worlds better than how it used to be. It's been a process to say the least but now it's finally settling in. I think my phone doesn't know how to respond when it keeps getting a rom update every few days. But I have a whole checklist of things to look at whenever I do an update now, so that definitely helps.

Good to hear man. I'm going to try your settings. I switch too often to nail anything down.

I think that might've been my problem, I kept switching up my settings & never really stuck with one long enough. I wanted instant results & didn't want to wait to see the final outcome before changing things up again. Try out those settings & let me know how they work for you

where can i change the priority at? are u using setcpu or is that in the das bamf settings?

I'm using the setcpu app, the one in the bamf toolkit is a more basic one that just sets the min/max but nothing else.

I'm using the smartass governer with min/max 245/1.03 and have noticed (a completely unscientific) improvement in battery life. I can use the phone all day now while leaving WiFi and LTE on.

will they conflict with each other?

Yes and no. Set CPU was winning on mine and I wasn't even realizing it for awhile. Just uncheck the set on boot box on the BAMF one. After you boot, look at the BAMF one to the right next to the setting numbers and you will see that it's using the setcpu setting you put in and not the BAMF ones.
