Well as I'm sure has been pointed out, the pixel 3 xl is selling for well under $600, so its a petty sweet deal.

over here the trade in offered was 150 for the Note 8 and 300 for the Note 9 and it didn't matter being the 8gb/512gb version, needles to say I didn't go for that, I'll have 3 Notes 8/9/10 instead lol

I want to use the phone caseless because the phone is aesthetically sexy. Just the reality of what can happen once it drops on concrete comes to mind

I was already planning on getting one but like you it probably would have been towards next year when the prices dropped. However, since Samsung gave a massive $600 off I got it early.

If only the unlocked played nice with ATT with wifi calling then I would have seriously considered it. The slow updates that lag behind the carriers would be the other reason that would hold me off despite the huge trade-in value. I feel like only T-Mobile doesn't restrict you at all for using an unlocked phone. (I also have T-Mobile as a secondary phone, and how they handle unlocked phones should be how all carriers do!)

Reason why I say this is yesterday I decided I wanted the insurance and I called
they would not allow me to add the insurance without cancelling the original order then reordering
I wasn't willing to temp feat

After a visit to Best Buy to see them in person, I ordered the Note 10. The + is just too large for my liking ... coming from the Pixel 3, the smaller N10 isn't too much larger than it. Hopefully i don't regret that decision... Hopefully battery life is a little better than what I'm getting with the Pixel 3

Well, I just returned from Best Buy, Acworth GA, and they have NO Note 10/10+ on display.

Not impressed...

You shoulda tried the one off Barrett Pkwy. They most likely have them.
