What did you want to be, while growing up

I wanted to be an Industrial Designer and design cars and cool stuff. Still kind of bummed out I wasn't really talented enough for it.

Now I have an Art History degree trying to get a job in a non-profit arts organization or something along those lines.

Go be an auto concept artist and make good money

sent from my one x+ if i helped you out hit that thanks button ;)

Well I am still growing... Well not really my height peaked early and everyone caught up by a lot...

Architect
Boat salesman (was convinced by bother as he wanted a cheap boat)
Landscaper
Politician (realised its too bit...y)
Human resources management.

Wanted to be a telecomms engineer since I was 12.
Finished my undergrad in telecomms engineering last year :D still looking for a job though :(

Hardware engineer, found out me and calculus don't get along though, I just can't grasp it. So I became my second choice instead, software developer. On a related note, I start back at college next week.

I know that feeling just graduated in May but with a less useful degree. :p There have got to be more jobs out there for a telecom engineer these days?

I worked in telecommunications for seventeen years. Then cell phones happened. :)

I still do fiber optics, but for other entities now.

??

Okay,
Lets be honest,
For most part of my childwood i wanted to be a commercial/passenger airline pilot, but the requirement for a prefect vision put me off it later. My next long time desire had been to be a i.t engineer, and it still is, again alot of hurdles here as well. I wont give this persuit up. Things happened such that i missed admission into two good institues, what you will be familiar with as state level universities, so still at my passion with a diff approach....finished a 1.5 years of internship in a telecom invoicing company and now doing the majors study from institutes you will be familiar as community colleges....i pray that i get a stand in the coming years...;):)

For me its an endless road of small work and study and work....to there where others have reached in 5 max years....but i want it....so neednt worry of who s what :)....carry on with what you like and want...(but i have confusion here as well)....

Over here engineering is rooted. My brother worked in that sector, his a 3d craftsman but not an engineering till his redundancy. Apparently this year 8000 engineers, drafties etc have all been cut but there are only 6 vacancies national wide.

I am interested by law but a lawyer isn't for me.

My weird nanna (the other one is the sweet heart manna) has got this idea everyone in the family should be a cop. Trying to find a way to say nicely I don't want to grow up to be a cop.

Lol. We all have a weird nana. I just hope I never turn into the 'weird' Noni (what the kids call me). Right now I'm the cool Noni, I suspect because I buy all the tech they can handle.

I think the cool manna originally bought us too as the weird one gave us painted rocks with hope written on it. Than again cool nanna shares similar views even though she calls a lot I like her more :)

I remember I wanted to be a scientist, with my own lab, huge microscopes and crazy cool experiments. I kinda still do...:)
