What do I do if I can't remember my password PIN?

I have a LG LS777 phone. I have the Gallery app on it. I can't get into my locked photos as I can't remember my password. It's a number, not a word. I've tried everything I can think of. There is no password recovery button, nor will the fingerprint option turn on. Help!

Welcome to Android Central! Did the phone come with an app locker function, or did you install a 3rd party app locker?

Normally, the only way to get data that's behind a password that you can't remember (other than thinking really hard, until you remember it) is to get the data from the backup (which, since the data was important, you made).

If you can't remember the password, and you didn't make a backup, you've just lost some storage space in the phone and, unless you're pretty handy with Linux, there's nothing you can do to get the space back.

App developers, even if they put back doors into the app (which they shouldn't) won't (or shouldn't) give them to people who want to bypass the passwords. (Or I could steal your phone, call and ask for the password and ... that would make an app like Gallery's locked files useless.)

Hi ,if you can make a account here , like to hear your opinion on the options here.
If you had Google back up your photos then should be access from computer or other devices. Now if you didn't try to go find my Android and do a backup that way you can factory reset your phone and then reinstall your backups.
