What do I do if my phone is stuck on lock?

[Android Central Question]

So, my phone has a timeout screen. It says for me to come back at 11. I went to set an alarm, so I unlocked my phone. Once I put in the pin, my phone screen stopped working. All I see is the previous time (8:47), the back button, and the battery percentage is not changing. I've tried turning my phone off, and it will not work. Any advice on what to do?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Did it tell you that the PIN was incorrect? When you said you tried turning your phone off, do you mean you powered it off completely and then powered it back on?
