What Do I need for CM7

So after my quest of finding the right gingerbread based ROM, I couldn't find one that just looked stock gingerbread, so I decided hell let me just get cm7.

Okay, so I hear there's a couple of stuff that cm7 needs for it work, what are they?

I hear it needs the GB Radio for it to work, isn't that the one that bricks phones ? OR Froyo Radio, not sure.

If it is the froyo radio, can't I use the one I am using now, (it's the one for perfect storm), not sure if that's froyo.

The CM7 thread on xda is a good source of information. As I recall, they describe CM7 as a pre-alpha so there will definitely be things that don't work. While I am interested in CM7, I'm waiting for it to get further along before I try it on my phone.

yes wipe data, clear cache and dalvik, flash the rom, then flash gapps, then reboot.

Okay, so just to make sure this rom doesn't include the GB radio, right, cause that'll mess my phone up

I'm just staying with my normal radio, let's hope thats froyo.

Rom .zip files dont contain radios, since radios must be flashed in hboot.

CM7 for tbolt operates with any of the froyo radios, one of which you are currently using.

You don't need to change your radio as long as it's working well for you.

can I flash gapps right after cm7, or do I have to wipe twice ?

god damit, dropbox didn't finish uploading Gapps, so it wasn't in clockwork.. this means I can't get into the market and get dropbox right?

omg this is beutiful, let me just restore some random rom, so I can get gapps.

go to the link from your phone's browser, download gapps, boot into recovery mode, and flash.

No need to wipe anything before installing gapps but you can clear cache and dalvik if you'd like to.

Flash gapps right after the rom if you want dont need to reboot or anything.

Only complaint so far is.. camera is ugly as hell

yeah the camera is bad on cm7. droid incredible cm7 users grab the miui camera and flash it over the top. Not sure if theres a nice camera for a tbolt rom you could use instead, but there probably is one somewhere.

Hey, I go to the cm7 website every now and then and I see the themes that cm7 has built it, I only have 3, because I am assuming it's because it's pre-alpha, but will they get supported later on?
