7.0.3 (Stable) is stable, but as previously mentioned in the thread, the nightly builds have fixed several bugs since that release. I am currently running nightly 99 and other than some wifi issues which several of us had (and several of us DIDN'T have, go figure), its a good build. IncrediKernel fixed my particular wifi issues. Your mileage may vary.

The nightlies have been perfectly stable and have served me well as my daily driver, but you can always go with the latest stable release. It's your choice, really as they are both stable enough fr daily use.
Ok so first boot went smoot and right now everything is syncing. I noticed though that I am only getting 1X data connection not 3G. Is normal at first or do I have an issue?
Odd. You might have been on 1X the whole time, Sense lies and tells you that you're on 3g when you're not. Try a reboot and see if that helps.

No problem. I'm glad you're happy with CM7, it's really a great ROM. I wouldn't want to use anything else.

I backed up my phone, but when I was trying to connect the phone so I could transfer the CM7 and GAPPS files to the SD car, it appears something got installed it from Windows. Now my phone will not go to recovery, it cycles back to out to the boot screen but never goes to the recovery menu.
Also, before going back to the recovery menu, it displays some messages in small green letters that say something about having "no image or wrong image." The messages go away too fast and I can't really read them.
Any ideas anyone???

Your Clockworkmod Recovery might have gone bad. Download ROM Manager and reinstall CWM. Just be sure to Check "erase old recovery".

Awesome, My advice would be to skip the "stable" version and go for the latest nightly. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
I've been using the nightlies as my daily driver for over a month now. They are perfectly stable and have numerous bug fixes that the stable version doesn't have. I would defiantly recommend the latest nightly over the stable version.
I did it. After backing everything up I installed CM7 Nightly 1.06 using CWM. It only took about 10 minutes. Getting all my apps back on there took a little longer. 
If I keep installing the nightly builds, do I have to re-install everything again or does it just update the ROM?
