What do I need to connect my Galaxy Tab S to ethernet?

What do I need to conect my Galaxy Tab S to ethernet.

I have a Tab S running Android 5.0.2 and want to use wired Ethernet. I have a Linksys USB 300 Ethernet adapter. I also have a USB a to USB B adapter but this combination doesn't work. The Ethernet tab on the Other Networks page is grayed out.
I've seen a video using a Lava device but I not sure if it's a Tab S in the video.
