What do Verison Usb drivers do other than core Dump

Plugged my Charge into XP system .. Allowed verizon USB drivers to install..

Can not figure out what they do..

No ability to move data back and forth that I can see.

Even when using the safely remove hardware option I get a core dump..

Just what are these drivers supposed to do ??

Allow you to access your sd card and connect to your device.

Well I un installed Blackberry USB program and it did work without the core domp..

Guess there was a conflict although there is no problem with my Vista machine.. Go figure..

Well that did not solve it.. Blue screens sometimes and connects others ..

You will need the samsung drivers installed if you want to use odin for flashing ROM's and other items that need to be flashed. You can flash the voodoo file that will get you the lagfix (rfs to ext4 file system) rooting of course and CWM.
