Is that native to Android O or exclusive to the Pixel 2? I haven't played with O yet.Dark mode is automatic when you use a dark wallpaper, it takes care of menus, folders, app drawer, etc.

Ahh, Ok. Since I don't plan to use the Pixel Launcher, please add that to my extensive list of things to complain about on the Internet. So far only new Pixels and only with the Pixel Launcher.
Lack of wireless charging and the 2:1 display.
Native to Pixel 2 at this point. Is that native to Android O or exclusive to the Pixel 2? I haven't played with O yet.
Just cancelled my 2 xl pre-order. Sucks because I really like the phone but I just could not get used to that screen. I tried 2 display models and 1 retail and there is no difference whatsoever. It feels like a downgrade from my u11. If the screen doesn't matter to you then you'll be getting a great phone. Unfortunately I just cannot spend $1000 on a phone that has a screen that looks identical to a cheap $100 metro pcs phone.
I can’t lie, I am really starting to worry about screen on my pixel 2XL pre-order. There seems to be a lot of people saying that it does not look very good. I’ve been to five Verizon stores and none of the XL phones are charged. Starting to feel like he signs that I should cancel my preorder. The lack of a headphone jack and secondary camera is giving me cause for pause as well
AgreedNo wireless charging, I use that daily.
No head phone jack, I use that daily. Yes I could use an adapter but I use my phone for music in the car via aux and for music at home. With an adapter in the USB C port I cannot charge it while listening to music.
The stock Android experience, I don't like it as I need to download more apps to get the same software features I'm used to having.
Camera software, again it's stripped down and I would need to purchase and actual camera app to compete with Samsung/LG.
No dual camera, both a wide angle lens and a telephoto lens can be very useful, why feature neither of them?
No micro SD card slot, another feature I make regular use of but not an absolute deal breaker.
Pixel 2 is a solid phone, but it's not the phone for me.
