Sorry if this is a repeated thread, but this is what i've noticed... chime in and let me know if you've noticed the same or if there's things i've missed!

The Good
-----------------------

Overall stock app appearances have improved (except for messenger app--in my opinion)

Much improved market with AUTO UPDATE and UPDATE ALL!! yay!
plus it has a fun little widget! :)

Install Apps to SD Card!

USB Tethering

Flash capable (download i used in case you can't find it in market)

App launcher lower bar with phone and browser shortcuts

5 screens

270 app rotate

better camera

Seems that calendar and corporate calendar have been merged... Note: if you have problems with Exchange, clear your cache and reboot.

You have to option to end a call with the power button... I like this since i used to have to sit around and wait a little while before the proximity sensor kicked in and realized the phone was away from my face.

Combines similar calls within Call log

Better "Manage Applications"

New security locking options

The "meh"
-----------------------

Auto brightness in power control widget (its a nice feature, but seems to kill battery at least for me)

Noticed it changed the color of the line next to my emails (the color code so you can tell what email is from what account)

Vibrate function seems to have a problem... To fix this go into your sound settings, change the vibrate setting, then change it back... seems to reset the hiccup and make it work.

Improved? User interface for USB Mounting (necessary?)

hold home = 8 most recent apps

The Bad
-----------------------

Messenger app now has white background instead of the black background and has the user's facebook image (or a standard android image) next to each message (wish you could turn this off and set the background back to the black...)

Seems that it takes greater force to change between 5 home screens... I used to be able to lightly stroke the screen, now i have to get a little forceful... yeah, that sounds a tad funny :)

Ever since I updated to froyo my home screen/launcher resets or reboots anytime I spend more than few minutes browsing the web, taking a picture, etc...it's really, really annoying.

Gmail update is awesome... now my "old school" eyes can actually see the text as the fontsize is adjustable at last!!!

All of us "Forty/Fifty/Sixty somethings" can now use Gmail without a struggle ;);)

What is chrome2phone?

This should fill you in on the basics, succinctly. Though, strangely, I find it works better with Firefox and Send to Phone as opposed to using my Chrome install and the Chrome to Phone extension they provide.

And I do love ChromeToPhone. Send a video to my phone, lie down on the couch or my bed, and just enjoy.

vibrate is not longer in the progression of ringer choices when pushing the volume button from the home screen :(

I used to use that all the time, now I'm frustrated with the silent mode/vibrate linked settings.

Other than that. I like it.

I hate the issue with vibrate. I never use a ring tone. Normal mode for me is vibrate. Occasionally I set the phone to silent. If it's silent, i DON'T want the phone to vibrate! Very Frustrating!

I'm also not pleased with the elimination of the multimedia dock app. I understand that some phones may need an option for a screensaver to prevent screen burn, but give me a choice!

tdawgui, thanks for link to flash player. Wasn't listed in market and adobe said not available till late summer for droid. Much appreciated

I noticed that when you're typing in an address into the web browser, the .COM button is no longer on the keyboard.

I miss the "drag up menu" that was replaced with the push button. But I do like the bottom dock it comes with that gives you a static button for phone and browser.

And @Jeffrey2480, I noticed the .COM button was gone as well, and I miss that too. :-(

I installed Alarm Plus v.2 yesterday. Still don't have the old dock, but there are many settings. You can even select never for the screensaver. Since it's based on the stock clock app, it has the same look and feel. It's really a nice replacement for the old multimedia dock app that someone decided we no longer needed.

Battery life is horrible! With minimal-moderate use, I need to put it on the charger every time I set it down. Earlier in the week I went the entire day without using it - got about 9 hours of idle time before it shut off. Flashing back to the 2.0.1.sbf with all of the same apps restored, things are fine (I'll easily get a couple of days of life).

Is this related to the new Facebook app?

My phone freezes all the time and I can't figure out how to save pictures from the internet?? I used to just do a long press on the picture and a menu would pop up with all the options, including the ability to save the picture, and now I do not get that option.

Not liking the update so far...
