So much easer to write on screenshots with the pen. I write on screenshots to point things out to people, etc. Also I use it when I use my phone in the shower because the finger and water dont mix

My sister will use hers to doodle. She loved drawing on her Note 7 and I'm sure she will love drawing on her Note 8 even more.

My penmanship has gotten really bad since 2000, cannot imagine why.

I felt the Note 7 was too skinny to write on, 8 will be worse? I like the stylus has a clicker/dragger. I like playing games with it so my hand doesnt block anything.

Precision clicking was the best use, the note options that pop up were all useful. I never could get the AOD screen to take notes for some reason, so that was never used.

I have only had the Note 7, and I didn't have enough time with it to do anything but play with making GIF files and screen captures lol. With so much functionality available, it's going to take me a while to figure out what I like doing best with it but it's going to be fun figuring that all out!

Cropping and editing photos. Taking screen shots, taking clippings from the web for scrapbooks, taking notes and the occasional doodle.

so looking forward to this. My iPad Pro is going to be left at home.

As someone who also is coming from the iOS side (phone, not iPad Pro), I pretty much share all of the uses listed here as reasons why I crossed the aisle to the Note series.

Yes, Android has improved significantly and many 3rd party apps work just as well on either platform, but the Note offers the ability to manipulate, interact with and bridge the gap between the digital & real world in a much more refined way (particularly because of the S Pen) than other devices.

That being said, and I'll respectfully disagree with Shanghaichica, my iPad Pro (with Apple Pencil) will be even more of an asset for me because it now has someone to play with on the same or even higher level.

Honestly I only used it when the Note first debut and from there on I find myself using it less.

Sure the first few days but afterwards rarely.
