What do you use your SPen for?

I use it for a bunch of different things. As a photographer though, I use Photoshop touch and use it there a ton. Actually have a more accurate time doing certain things with PS touch and the S pen then on my PC.

As someone who also is coming from the iOS side (phone, not iPad Pro), I pretty much share all of the uses listed here as reasons why I crossed the aisle to the Note series.

Yes, Android has improved significantly and many 3rd party apps work just as well on either platform, but the Note offers the ability to manipulate, interact with and bridge the gap between the digital & real world in a much more refined way (particularly because of the S Pen) than other devices.

That being said, and I'll respectfully disagree with Shanghaichica, my iPad Pro (with Apple Pencil) will be even more of an asset for me because it now has someone to play with on the same or even higher level.

Oh I'll still use my iPad Pro but I won't drag it about on my daily commute anymore as I'll have both my 7 plus and note 8.

To echo the replies, I use it to take notes. I have a stylus that I use with my S7E but like others point out, it just isn't in it. It works, but not very refined, and I run out of space. My printing is not the neatest. I also dislike that I have to pull the stylus from my wallet-one more thing to keep track of and hope it won't get lost. I am so psyched to have the more precise writing and the built in stylus back. I use the notes all the time, write phone numbers, all sorts of information snippets, down on notes and to get the built in stylus back with smooth writing--well I just can't wait.

Took pictures of displays in my stores, then made notes of what I wanted my team to change right on the picture, then texted it to the store managers.

Had some plumbing and electrical run to a building - took a picture of the area and drew in where all the lines are.

And some drawing, though nowhere near the quality of the poster above

I coach youth soccer - having the ability to jot down a note in a practice, with a trainer or at a game, in rainy weather is going to be a time saver.

Besides what everyone said. Editing photos for upload to social media for my business page amongst other things. What I missed was being able to sketch ideas and jot down notes for sewing projects. Ahhh I miss my Spen so. Can't wait til we're reunited lol.

I think he's referring to the fact that carrier orders a shipping early while Samsung's direct orders aren't.

It's nice to have the pen when it's cold enough outside you need to wear gloves. It's also convienent after a work out since sweaty hands and touchscreens don't mix.

I remember when that game Drawsomething was all the rage the Note 1 or Note 2 came out around then but was way out of my price range. I really wanted a Note to blow my friends away with the Drawsomething creations I would be able to pull off.

I made due with my finger and eventually one of those stupid floppy stylus' that apparently is still pretty standard for non-note phones.
