Re: What do you want in Key Lime Pie?

Ability to undo

Control of the information provided by Google Now. I don't want to wait and see what it will provide. I want to know I'll have the info that I need when I need it. And customization of the top graphic would be a plus too.

Re: What do you want in Key Lime Pie?

I fu*king love Google and I fu*king love key lime pie! It can't get any better, it will be magically no matter what they do!

So glad I no longer have to upgrade my device or wait a stupid long amount of time to receive an Android update. <3 Nexus devices.

Location based reminders please.

Since this is general topic I wanted to post this in the popular forum which is Nexus 4. So, what do you want in KLP?

-Notification settings
Android has the most sophisticated Notification and yet it doesn't have a notification settings? so far just enable/disable Notification??
these are my wish list
Let customize volume level and ringtone based on apps.
Let customize LED based on apps. just like LED flow and move LED settings to notification rather than display.
Let customize vibration based on app.
Set notification to standard/low priority/disable based on apps. right now its just enable/disable.
Option in App info like "Disable Notification" to "Kill the app when closed"
Option in App info like "Disable Notification" to "Dont start App automatically"
See Notification from lock screen(PIN,Pattern and Password) and make it an option in settings.

-Lockscreen
authorize apps I choose to be access with out unlocking the phone.

-Project butter 2

-UI consistency
still lot to improve on UI

-Parental control.
improve and add multiuser/parental control to phones

-Backup/restore home screen and Application data to Google drive and restore to any device.

-Bed time mode. enable/disable notification at a period of time in a day.

-release the messaging app in play store just like calendar & sound search. integrate Gtalk/Google voice/Google+ messenger

-remote wipe/locate(find my phone) and manage device from play.google.com

POST YOUR WISHLIST!!!!!!

If you're still getting lag with Jellybean then it might not be the OS's fault but I can't say for sure.

This is from me, on my EVO 3D.

My Nexus 7 gets slowed down a bit sometimes, but my Nexus 4 doesn't, which makes me think it's a hardware problem instead of a software one.

A way to make a full backup without root.

That's all I need.

Re: What do you want in Key Lime Pie?

Currently, certain networks prevent the device from going into deep sleep (Android OS reports keep awake time of 8 hours during my work day when connected to WiFi).

Certain networks that require authentication when you open the browser used to prompt the user with a username/password window. Now, that doesn't happen so authentication is impossible.

Take notes from Swype: When I want to replace a word, don't make me double tap it and click replace first. When I tab on it, show in the suggestion ribbon right away.

Cloud storage for apps to utilize without their own servers. My Angry Birds save status should sync across all devices.

For Chrome not to suck balls. I can't help but to feel like my bookmarks page load like a webpage. This is especially noticeable on my Nexus 7.

Re: What do you want in Key Lime Pie?

Ability to adjust transparency of soft button nav bar and notifications bar. I hate the black bars eating up screen space! This is one of the main reasons I'm on a custom ROM. Ability to change background of notification shade as well.

3. USB audio out for cars for example

I think it depends on your car stereo. I use a Kenwood KDC-xxx model that came out about 5 or so years ago, and USB audio works fine with my Nexus4.

Re: What do you want in Key Lime Pie?

I can do alot of these things you guys are saying on the custom ROM I'm running ;))
