Hello, I have been using an Optimus G Pro with the big, bright, can't miss it LED notification light on the home button, what does the G4 use for notifications? Hate to have to pick up the phone and unlock it to see I had missed calls or texts like hours ago. I'm not familiar with the G3 either, so sorry if this is a stupid question, all I have to go in is the Optimus G Pro, I can see that LED from across the room and know by the color if it was a missed call, text, or voicemail. Have to admit, I'm going to miss that.

I always wondered why you can't configure the LED light to light up every 2 seconds, and not every 4 seconds (or 5 on different companies smartphones).
Although for whatsapp and other applications its configured by the app so the LED acts differently, but for default SMS for example its every 4 seconds.
I hate looking at the phone for 4 (or less) seconds to see if I missed an SMS (if I was away from the phone).

For some reason I just assumed the G4 had a notification light but I'm glad to hear that confirmed.

Check out Light Flow. Should be able to do what you want with it using that.
