What does the small house icon on my signal bars mean?

Has anyone ever seen this icon before where the green arrow points? Never saw this before. Between the 4G and signal bars. The little tiny icon.

The small house icon is an indicator that you're connected to a Verizon Network Extender. See the following.

And from Verizon's Network Extender FAQs:

Call to confirm - Call #48 on your Verizon Wireless mobile phone and listen for this announcement: “You are under Network Extender coverage.” That announcement verifies that the Network Extender is functioning properly and you're connected to it.

Thanks! I was at a business meeting in Rockville MD and they must have had one in the office building. Never saw that before.
