What happened to my Google Music Player - it turns on by itself when charging

Whenever I plug the 8 in the Google Music Player kicks off. I'm going to try and uninstall it.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I can't find a setting to turn it off.

Don't know, but I do know that I find it using ram frequently and I never load that app.

Figured out what was going on.
Sony smart connect was set to fire off player when put on charger.
