What Happened To The?

I noticed this morning that the flashlight option I believe was still in my notification tray, or whatever you call that I forget, an tonight I needed to use the flashlight option and see that it is no longer available, does anybody know what happened to the flashlight option?

I don't know, maybe it's something I done and didn't realize it. I've only had my Nexus for two weeks, never had a pure Google phone.

Some of the toggles in the quick settings are removed if you don't use them for more than a month. Have you already tried rebooting your phone?

That was it, thanks for the help. I'm new to nexus, I'm learning and loving every minute with this phone. I rebooted the phone, and it's back. I didn't know this, cool thanks.

I've only had the phone for 3 months and it doesn't happen after a month. Even running CM, I don't get it sometimes. I have root access, is there a way to make it always available?

EDIT: sorry 2 months, not 3. It has happened at least 3 times though.

I prefer switching the flashlight with Power Toggles. This way you can have the switch in the notifications shade and on the lock screen. You could try that.

Mine's disappeared a few times in almost a years time. A reboot usually brings it back immediately.

Interesting, I noticed mine was not there last night after I read this , yet I use the flashlight from settings a lot..... It's there now
