What has Verizon taken away from V20?

I would like to ask VZW folks if they could please post what features that VWZ removed this time? I hate that they feel the need to do this, it's ridiculous. I'm on Tmobile but the wife is Verizon and she's very interested in the V20. I'd hate to tell her about a cool feature that's not available on their model.

Thanks in advance!

But we also get free NFL games streaming, so I'll take that swap in heartbeat.

I don't understand why people are upset over the loss of FM radio. Download iheartradio and be happy.

Consumes a lot less power, no data use, handy for local areas. It is nice to have. At a minimum it is a feature that has no reason to be removed other than Verizon not wanting people using something that does not contribute to data usage.

The principle on its own makes Verizon come across like a$$hats. They went out of their way to remove the feature that no other carrier has. It is wrong.

I personally would love having the FM radio... Where I live it can be helpful in an emergency .

Lateck,

Haven't listened to fm radio in years unless it just on in the background in the car. However, I do hate that Verizon does this kind of stuff. Can't wait till other carriers catch up so they either shape up or everyone leaves.

FM radio, smart settings, and themes don't appear to be on the Verizon version.

Wow! The Verizon model dose not have any theme support at all?! Like the theme section dose not even appear in the settings app?

My AT&T version has it but could not download additonal themes at first because LG Smartworld was not included. But simply downloading the SmartWorld APK and installing it restored the ability to download additional themes. Of which there are maybe 10 and none of them very appealing LOL

Yup and apparently they disabled customizing the smart bulletin as well...

I was able to change to the high contrast theme in the settings. I'm on Verizon. It was there, under Home Screen.

Ah I see. On the AT&T version Themes are accessed from the main list in the settings app. So weird how so many things are inconsisent with the same phone from one carrier to the other.

Themes are there

That section is quite dif from AT&T as well. Bloatware I can at least get the reasoning of why carriers do it, but I wonder what reasoning Verizon or any other carrier comes up with to ask the manufacturer to change such random UI things like the order and layout of settings menus.
