It isn't bad but to be honest... I watch football at my house, friends, or a bar. Never have I had the need to do it on my phone.

You're not able to download or use NextRadio (FM radio app) on the V20?
Verizon allowed it on the N7 and S7edge.

Sprint is usually like Verizon. AT&T is hit or miss. T-Mobile usually leaves the FM intact.

All of my previous Sprint LG flagships (G3 and G4) had the fm radio.

This is enough to warrant a formal gripe with Verizon... How does one formally gripe to Big Red??? And is this something that can be undone with a software update, or is it hardware, too?

Well I know with at&t you can write the office of the president and they will help you out. I imagine Big Red is the same way.

I had one ordered and cancelled it. The thread here Pixel XL signal strength had a link to lab tests showing the pixel and a pixel XL had the worst signal strength of any of the high-end phones out this year that they had tested...

I live in kind of a remote area so that is right up at the top of my list for things that are super important. People who live in the city would never notice this probably...

$97 compared to Tmobile.
$120 compared to Sprint.
$127 compared to the unlocked versions.

Smart Settings, Themes, and FM Radio. Got it. Thank you everyone for your replies. I'm so glad I got away from Big Red. I could see disabling a feature that might be confusing or cause unnecessary calls to customer support, but these are benign features that add to the experience of using the phone. Ridiculous.

Because the only thing bigger that VZW is Apple lol. Remember, the iPhone was an AT&T exclusive for quite a while. If Big Red wanted to get on board they had to agree to Apple's terms or lose out on the gabillion dollars selling Apple products brought to them.
