What is causing this?

Just today, this started appearing in my tabs area. If I try to close it, it prompts my phone to restart. Even after a reboot, it will just appear again. I do not believe there are any performance problems, but I do not like that being there. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Did you disable something you shouldn't have?

I don't believe I've touched any settings. There was a software update a day or so ago, so it could be related to that, but I would not know how to remedy it if so.

Problem may have been solved by updating PRL and Profile.
