Android Central Question

A few times a day, I get a brief message on my phone that says either "Mobility State: UNKOWN, Mobility State: Stationary, or Mobility State: Mobile". It appears and disappears very quickly. It shows up at the bottom of the screen in one of those gray text boxes, the same type of box that appears right after you set an alarm. It happens randomly, doesn't seem to matter if I have an app open or not. Can someone please explain what this means?

I have a ZTE Blade X Max with Cricket. In my previous posts I indicated what I was advised to do was to go into <Settings>; <WiFi> and turn off Cricket WiFi Manager. I did and have not seen anymore of those annoying toasts. Cricket advised me through a chat message that they are working on a fix. I have not turned on my WiFi Manager yet to see if a fix has come through.

I have a Motorola moto e5 supra, and it's also happening to me. I just noticed it yesterday, I don't mind it happening but it's just I would rather know what causes it or what it's from. I disable cricket wifi manager, we will have to see if it stops the "toaster" from popping up.

I have the same phone and carrier.

ZTE Blade Max with Cricket here. This started happening to me a week ago, and I've been unable to find anything about this until now. It pops up so frequently, maybe once every couple of minutes.

I have a Motorola, however I also have Cricket Wireless. I e come to the conclusion it's gotta be a provider thing verses something an app is doing. I think I'm gonna get ahold of them tomorrow just to see what it's about. And I'm going to ask my husband and other family with Cricket if this is happening to them as well.

Go into phone settings, select wifi and turn off Cricket WiFi Manager. Simple as that. Should work on any Cricket phone. I've done this with both my ZTE & Motorola phones.

I have a ZTE Blade X Max, also my carrier is cricket! This recently started happening to me as well. It's rather annoying not knowing what it is... Like I've taken my phone in to cricket and of course no one there knows wth it is and they don't care to do anything about it so it's kind of just stuck there. Could it be because US basically forced ZTE products to stop being sold here?? I'm so happy I found this thread! I thought my phone got a virus or something!

I have been having this problem for a few weeks now and haven't found ANYTHING about it until this thread. I also have a ZTE phone and Cricket service. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the US no longer being able to sell ZTE phones? I don't know but it's super annoying! My phone does it every few minutes and I can't find anything about it online.

Yes!!! I am so happy I found this too! I thought it was a virus or because I dropped my phone. It just started happening a few weeks ago. I think it has something to do with the US no longer selling ZTE as well.

I honestly think it has something to do with ZTE phones and the US no longer selling them. I'm having the same problem. It pops up every few minutes and it is so frustrating!

I have Cricket and ZTE Blade X Max. My husband as well. I think it's a ZTE issue.

Want to rid yourself of the toast notifications that have been happening to Cricket users....(yes, it is a Cricket issue). Simply go to your <Settings>, <WiFi>, <Cricket WiFi Manager> and slide the bar into the OFF position.

Same problem here, also with Cricket and using Blade X Max...

OK I've turned it off so hopefully this solves my issue. Thanks
