Android Central Question

A few times a day, I get a brief message on my phone that says either "Mobility State: UNKOWN, Mobility State: Stationary, or Mobility State: Mobile". It appears and disappears very quickly. It shows up at the bottom of the screen in one of those gray text boxes, the same type of box that appears right after you set an alarm. It happens randomly, doesn't seem to matter if I have an app open or not. Can someone please explain what this means?

I own a Galaxy 9. My carrier is cricket. I started experiencing this problem about 3 days ago. I see that it is an issue with cricket subscribers. It disconnects me from my Wi-Fi. It is a bit annoying because pops up a lot through out the day.

I also have cricket and this just started happening to me!!

As long as it takes, you won't see anything before the next normally-scheduled update. The fix foes into the update, unless the bug is so severe that you can't use the phone for anything (in which case, in the US, since Cricket can no longer provide service, they've breached the contract and even if you can get the phone working, they'd have to sue you to get paid, but you have grounds for suing them if they shut off your account - and they know it.)

So sit back, relax, and don't expect a fix until they normally send a patch, which is probably only a few times a year. (Cricket isn't Google, which provides patches every month - there's one due April 1.)

Same here. Cricket and a Motorola e5. I just turned off WiFi manager.
My girlfriend also has a Motorola but an e6. Her phone randomly chimes but they are no notifications or anything happening. We can't figure it out.

Hey y'all.
I also have Cricket Service as well as a ZTE Blade X Max phone. This just started happening in the last couple days. It's driving me crazy! At least I know I'm not alone.
Has anyone found a fix for it yet?
Thanks!

Let's get even more detailed here. Has anybody been receiving weird calls/scams also called robo calls for a while now and the phone has been acting weird as well before this?

ALSO LOOK CLOSELY IN THE PICTURE AND IT WILL SHOW THE MOBILITYSTATE

Has your wife's phone randomly vibrated as well ?

I thought i was the only one, phew.... I really hope it is something to do with cricket, cuz it is making me nervous I don't want it to turn it to be some kind of crazy hack or virus from cricket

I also have the cricket blade xmax 3 , I'm hoping it don't mean my phone is dying or something crazy lol
