The default video player is the "video player" apk. If you're wanting to change the default video player for a different one, install a third-party video player. A popular one, for example, would be MX Player. When wanting to play a video after installing a third-party video player, you will see a prompt message asking you to choose a video player you would like to play the video on. Check the "set as default media player" option, located at the bottom of the prompt message, then select the new video player. Hope I helped you amigo!

I second the recommendation for MX Player. It plays pretty much every video format and container that I've thrown at it. It's like VLC for your Android device.

I like MX player.. the support is good. there was problem after 4.3 update and it got fixed in 2-3 days
