I'm a 62 year old nerd that can still reverse my age - how I would love to be 26! I remember I was so excited to get one of the first 5 1/4" full height 5MB hard drives running on my 8088 4.7mhz cpu computer - that hard drive cost me $2500.00 at employee discount!

I thought I read somewhere that the baby boomers where one of the larger groups of smartphone owners, although I could be wrong. Old farts rule!!

62 here. Love the "forums" and thought I was likely the oldest, but apparently not. I've got the Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Nexus GSPA+, and just got my Asus TF700T so I've developed (along with obvious senility) a bit of Android "thing".

57 here and amazed at the people who are amazed at the ages, just because we are not in our 20's or 30's we can and do stay abreast of the latest technology, and with more disposable income are able to do this easier than we could in our 20's and 30's.

How about professions too?

When I worked as a nurse, during admission we were required to ask the patient what their occupation was (they could decline to answer), I cared for everyone from test pilots (female, btw) to a mortician, to a rocket scientist and even a nun. It was a great conversation starter!

My 19 and 17 year old kids have the phone too, but they're not on the forum they have the phone through my influence though.
