I am new to this type of stuff. I just rooted my phone for the first time and installed the jelly bean ROM by JRN84D. I like it almost everything works expect 4g, GPS lock and face lock. I was just wondering if there is a fully functioning ROM and which custom ROM is the best out right now?

If you go into the General section for the Nexus S over at XDA you will find the official CM10 ROM. There is a link for the devas G+ account with the download link. This ROM is amazing and as far as I know, everything works. I can't test 4G because Sprint hasn't made it available in my area yet. But from what everyone was saying, it works.

Check 4.1.1 stock ROM with Google official binaries. Works great. Everything is smooth. If or paying for tethering should work too. I'm trying tethering apps instead of paying for the service n yet wifi tethering apps don't work on J.B. yet.

The same ROM and Thread. Solid ROM without question. Updates r quick to come to, so thats a added bonus.

I am running Peter Alfonso Bugless Beast ICS latest version with Matr1x kernel.

I have tried most of the JB ROMS and I've experienced various issues (incl. gallery not syncing and 4G issues).

I will stick with ICS until Peter comes out with a JB version.
