What is the best way to backup an Android phone?

What is the best way to backup an Android phone (not rooted)?

I want to backup everything so if I lost my phone or if my phone is damage, I could restore/recover everything into a new phone.

Is there some way to schedule daily/weekly backup? (e.g. just like backup of my PC, I can set Acronis/Macrium schedule to auto backup daily)
