what is the button on the S-pen supposed to do?

if you go into settings, S Pen. you will find a lot of things it can do. make sure to read the S pen Help at the bottom.

a few things i use it for, taking screenshots.
if you just hold the s pen on the screen while pressing the button, it will take a shot of the whole screen, and bring up editing options.
also if you press the button while drawing a freeform shape it will take screen shot of just that area..insdie any app...kinda kool...

Wow, I'm missing all those options with the AOSP ROM I'm using. I'm gonna look into a stock ROM to try it out.

You just changed my life with that free-form drawing shtick. Sometimes I just want a fast easy way to copy/paste text from a webpage. This does it all automatically... Effin love it! Thanks.
PS: yes, I could have read the directions... But finding out this way is so much more fun!

Thanks for posting the info on the S Pen!! Although, when trying to use the S pen with the button pressed, it would not ake a screen shot for me. I'll have to double check the settings.
