I don't know if this will help but if you go to "socialcompare beta" and look under "Android version comparison" it was updated March 10th, but it had quite a bit of information about the question you just asked so you might want to check it out I'm kind of a dummy on these things but so many haved help me.And I just saw this so I hope it helps.

The main change in 4.4.4 was a fix to the OpenSSL/Heartbleed bug.
