What is the difference between Cyanogenmod/Koush and Ultimate Droid?

I really couldn't give a squirt if they ban me from that site... Buncha blackDroid leg humpers...

I have watched him get kicked out of alldroid for ripping Pete's rom 100%.. Then he goes to DF and looks like a great rom inventor!!! .. Next he starts getting a tad bit smarter but at least covering the rom dumps with a sh!t ton of other stolen hacks, mods and themes.. All the while taking credit for most because he is such an innovator!!

Next thing you know he claims to be working hand in hand to help create Koush's new build... Rom manager hits, Blackdroid steals the whole rom dump and claims its his and then has the balls to be pissed off that Cynogen has it in the Rom manager without BD's consent!!

BD is such a DB!!
Right now Im running NexBeast V2 and its Petes 2.1 dump with all kinds of stuff added and changed to the point that you would never even be able to tell. Fabulous still gave credit to each and every dev that contributed at all!! Taking NO credit for himself...

You can use rom manager. But you need to be rooted to use it. Check the root without sbf.

After that, just get ROM Manager from the marketplace (as bizz mentioned). The free version will allow you to install cyanogenmod, but the paid license will allow you to install themes, etc. It's really worth the couple bucks he charges.

Start here to get root: Obtaining Root | Root Your Droid

Then download Rom manager from market either version will work but I would recommend getting the paid version well worth it.

Open Rom manager then flash clockworkmod recovery the first choice in rom manager.

Back up current rom in rom manager

Then goto download a rom and pick which ever one you want.

Right now I am using Rom Manager and Running JRummy with smoked glass-esq theme. I have set cpu but it only goes up to 550mhz. Can I go into Cyanogenmod and download the kernal to up the CPU speed while on JRummy? or do I have to be on Cyanogenmod?

The P3 one should work. I would do a backup first though.

They are barebones both CM, so yes, either kernel should work.

I dont really feel like trying every theme so I guess I will ask, I like the smoked glass look with the see thru widgets and the black notification bar/panel but I dont like when the theme colors ever single icon and every check mark that same color. Such as the themes with JRummy. Is there any theme that has a sleek and shine to it with see thru widgets and possible red incorporated? I love blue but I just feel this phone was meant for red lol.

Edit: I guess what I'm also asking is what themes are your favorites and why.

I using JRummy green and like it the best because I can match all my widgets to look the same (pandora, music, power control, news and weather, facebook, pure calendar, and pure messenger). JRummy does have a red theme coming out maybe even tonight you might want to take a look.

How can you match the widgets to look the same? Is it like that from the theme or is it something you had to do? I tried the Blue theme and everything was blue lol a little too much for me, i think it was the icons that i didnt like.

Has anyone tried Hexfusion theme? Red Rum?

The skins for the widgets in the theme make them look the same, I have to apply skins to the messenger and calendar widget myself. I tried hexfusion and it wasn't for me and haven't tried red rum yet.

Keep in mind, installing the themes like Smoked glass esque could have an impact on your battery life.

At least for me - I know when I used Smoked glass esque and hexfusion, my battery life dropped an hour or two of battery life over the course of the day.
