What is the first thing you'll do with your Epic?

They insist on activating it almost all the time, especially smartphones.

Exactly I wanna turn my on first too LOL I know seems childish but I just dont want them doing any more touching than they have too....just activiated I can set my own contacts and emails etc..just do the esn swap and send me on my way pleaase and thank u

Well, since I have never had a Droid phone, I will do everything possible to familiarize myself with it. And since I am coming from a Pre, I will stare in awe at how awesome it is.

Is rooting and themeing(is that a word?) as easy as it is on the Pre? Anything close to PreWare? If not. no big deal, I rooted my Pre with Commandline originally all the same. Just wondering how easy it will be on the Epic.

Dunno yet, gotta find an exploit, and those aren't the same from OS to OS and phone to phone. We have a system dump of the phone, but we could really use the kernel, too. They should be released publicly around the time of launch anyway. The previous exploits for the Vibrant and the Captivate have been patched on the epic, so no one-click root yet. It'll happen, with the hype of this phone, it'll happen sooner rather than later.
