For about the last month and a half, I've been attempting to load several songs into a music directory using Kies on an external Micro SD card in my Galaxy S4 phone.
I load say 20-24 GIG worth of songs and it appears the Android operating system always deletes them down to under 16 GIG. Is the max file size for a folder in Android really 16 GIG? I ended up rooting my phone and not installing the media scanner (thinking that was the problem). I have been using the N7Player because it has it's own built in media scanner.
No matter what I do, the additional songs always get deleted off my sd card.
Can I add multiple music folders (ie, Music, Music_1, Music_2, etc?)
Has anyone else run into this?
I installed the Viper4Android eq driver and it makes the music sound WONDERFUL. I'm just not sure why I'm having these problems. I called Samsung "support" which is really mis-named" and Verizon hasn't been any more help.
Thanks.
