What is the newest Radio?

i have 2.15.00.11.19, but i'm seeing a ton of people with 2.15.00.04.08 as their radio. logically, it would seem as though I have a newer radio, but I'm not sure!

Any way or place for me to see what the latest radio is on a continuing basis?

edit: *sigh* Google is my friend. Anyway, for anyone interested, it appears that mine is, indeed, the newest radio. Here's the thread:

That thread hasn't been updated since December. I am not entirely sure that it is still accurate.

That 4/8 isnt official I dont think but some people are running it.
I have been running it for a few days.

11/19 one is the latest official one

04.08 is the newest I believe. The numbers reflect April. And 11.19 reflect November.

i have a launch day evo, and have never updated the radio. (i have 1.36.00.04.02)


im currently running cyanogen 6

what are the advantages of updating to a newer radio

Better reception, battery life, speeds, etc.

To update, no wipe is needed just flash. BUT your phone will reboot a few times and act crazy for a little, this is normal DO NOT BATTERY PULL. That's one of the only ways to permanently brick an evo.

Don't be intimidated though, new radios are good
