What is the Note 4 Release date?

Samsung dropped the ball with this phone this time around. Now the late launch is even worst.

I hate the launch date as well, but will deal with it if it means less bugs to deal with.

I feel CrApple has the power in this game demanding their products have an exclusivity window over any phone released at or near it especially a Samsung. No matter what the big iphone looks like the GN4 offers and DOES so much more and that is what I will be getting. Now its down to carrier options. If I knew for sure who was offering it when I would be happier.

Obviously, next week will solely be focused on Apple. This week was pretty much Samsung week. Product wise with the Note 4.. I am impressed with the Stylus. Everything else from the 3 presenters discussing the features was almost terrible to Note Edge & Gear VR wasn't all that impressive.

They were crap. I liked the older Korean gentleman at the beginning. The young Korean guy was ok but the other two were rubbish. However I'm more interested in the devices. The note 4 is a definite buy. The gear S is a maybe. The note edge is a cool concept but I wouldn't buy it over the note 4. The VR is a definite no.

Every time I see a release date this far off, the message I hear is:

"We'd love for you to buy our product, and know you're ready to throw your money at us. But first, we'd like for you to have a look at what our competitors have to offer between now and our release date."

I know the next big thing is always around the corner, but when you wait so long that I actually get to look around that corner....

Think they F'd up not releasing it sooner given the iPhone 6 with 5.5 will hit the shelves before the Note 4.

Samsung is just being nice... they want Apple to have a chance to sell a few million iPhone 6 first.

Yes I wish they would just drop it already! The build up to the announcement, the pictures and all the hands on 2 minutes after the announcement, I am ready to pass my note 3 to my wife so I can get this beast! I like the concept of the edge, but I really don't think it would be good for everyday use, that's what the drop down bar is for. Come on release date!

I don't have that guilt when I get new phones because I never trade or sell my old phones. I currently have too many phones than I can count. Yes, I'm probably a phone hoarder. I'll just list the Samsung ones: Fascinate, Droid Charge, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note II, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S5.... Then there's about a dozen Motorolas, dating back as far as 1990, up to smartphones like Moto G and Moto X.

Hopefully early October...my S3 is randomly rebooting about every 3rd day and has had it. It's more than 2 years old so I get the best upgrade options possible from ATT. I'm just not sure I can hold out a month from a practical point of view, once my phone dies I might just have to go to the S5 (not the worst option, but I was leaning towards a Note)

I got my Note 3 on October 4 last year on Sprint. I went to an ATT store for a touchy feely in late September. It's not the end of the world, just a few weeks.

Apple has historically released their phones within 2 weeks after their big event. My guess is pre-orders start the 12th, phones ship/arrive on the 19th or 26th.

But apple will not be releasing the 5.5 iPhone along side the normal size at the same time. ......can you say cannibalizing each other?
