What is the Red and Green horizontal arrows in the notification bar?

Darn, I wonder what it is. I mean I know what is it by the first response but no idea how to get rid of it.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

not even if you edit the notification panel?

The arrows appeared after a system update on my Galaxy S5, rebooting the phone did not remove them in my case.
I am not able to find any way to remove them. And I do not know what they are....

It's VoLTE. Are you rooted because I've only seen the colored arrows on rooted phones.

Do you have send and receive notification set for a down loaded app? Some have independent status bar notifications and will over ride phone settings.

No, I have not installed any download apps, even the pre-installed download accelerator is disabled.

The update was done yesterday, since then I noticed three changes.
1) The red and green arrows in the notification bar.

2) There are two new options for the pre-installed clock.
1. Sound in silent mode.
2. Vibrate in silent mode.

3) Behavior of the lock screen when docked has changed.
Now, after docking first step of showing the calender clock and local weather is same.

Then screen used to turn off, but it then changes to displaying a clock and local weather on the black background

The clock+weather moves every one minute to a different location on the screen like a screensaver.

The Daydream option is turned off.

Hello.

I looks like you have a NTT Docomo phone. I have the same phone and I'm in the same situation. If you look on the Docomo homepage, it will yell you about VoLTE. It's a new service that they have. To turn it off, go to settings > call > call mode settings? Choose do not allow VoLTE calls.

I hope this helps.

Thank you very much for your help, I could turn it off.

As you have the same phone as me, I would like to ask you a question.
In my photos above you can see the clock displayed when docked, after about half an hour the display goes black.
Then when I press the home button, I get a message that the clock has crushed. Do you have the same problem?

Thanks
