I cannot get this error to stop showing up...

"the process com.htc.bgp has stopped unexpectedly...."

All that 'clear cache' stuff is not working

is there a way to stop this process using Titanium freeze or temp root/delete

is there a definitive cause for this????

I get this error after deleting the following from /system/apps/

com.htc.WeatherWidget.apk
com.htc.WeatherWidget.odex
Weather.apk
Weather.odex
WeatherAgentService.apk
WeatherAgentService.odex
WeatherProvider.apk
WeatherProvider.odex

Restoring them stop the com.htc.bgp force close erros.

I read this over at XDA forums...
I too deleted these things using the TempRoot/titanium delete method...

ONE question, where do I find these to load them back on my phone???

com.htc.WeatherWidget.apk
com.htc.WeatherWidget.odex
Weather.apk
Weather.odex
WeatherAgentService.apk
WeatherAgentService.odex
WeatherProvider.apk
WeatherProvider.odex

How can I put these back on my phone?? ... it is a stock phone but I removed them and want to put them back

my dad was getting this error the other day when he started freezing apps using TI backup. Only way he was able to get it fixed was a factory reset

yep or flash your nandroid back up.

always freeze in TB first before you delete.

just reflash your ROM. dont do a full wipe, just both caches and you should be good to go.

Words with Friends gets progressively worse after each update. They fix one thing (presumably) and break four. What I'm saying here is i dont think your issues are EVO related, I think they are WWF related.

Since you're not fully rooted I take that you don't have a nandroid backup. Try a factory reset. Is all else fails you might want to talk to sprint.

That is exactly what happened to me. After disabling -
com.htc.WeatherWidget.apk
com.htc.WeatherWidget.odex
Weather.apk
Weather.odex
WeatherAgentService.apk
WeatherAgentService.odex
WeatherProvider.apk
WeatherProvider.odex

Then I re-enabled them and continued to get the message.

I was just getting ready to say it worked until I got the same message. Its as if FB sync was working and got into a snag. Any ideas?
Thanks very much for any help you can offer.

Its happening less often now though.
